Verco will be showing its all-new Cambridge Midi for the first time at this year’s Convenience Retailing Show and will be supplying four cabinets (a mix of freezers and chillers) to the organiser’s Café+ stand, which is offering visitors a single venue for reviewing the latest products on show.

At 1.5m high, the three new Cambridge Midi models are designated C096, C110 and C130 and have been designed to help improve in-store visibility by matching the height of gondola units. Like the Cambridge ‘Inline’, the Midi cabinets are designed to fit within the modules of 1m, 1.2m and 1.3m ambient shelving systems and retain the very small 'footprint' of just 677mm, which has made the Cambridge a favourite for retail environments where space is at a premium.
The refrigeration system offers an M1 temperature rating of -1/+5°C and uses R404a as standard. For the energy-conscious retailer, the Midi can easily be charged with Care50 propane and fitted with electronically commutated fans. Options include mirror finishes to end walls and night blinds.
All models feature the same low-front styling as the Cambridge, with a height of just 410mm from floor to lower shelf, a horizontal shelf size of 390mm and a 460mm display deck.
Verco’s stand will also feature a 1.1m Cambridge ‘Inline’, a 1.5m Cambridge, 1.25m and 2.5m Kingston cabinets, and two-door Henley and single-door Verwood models.
