| Verco Limited, a leading supplier of refrigerated cabinets for the UK’s forecourt, supermarket and convenience store sectors, will be using this years’ Convenience Retailing Show to preview a new generation of its popular open-chill Cambridge cabinet and promote the latest ‘Inline Merchandiser’. The company will also be exhibiting cabinets from its Kingston, Henley and Verwood ranges.
In response to customer feedback, the new Cambridge range will be fitted with the latest rotary scroll compressors and feature a low-front design of just 410mm. The range will be available initially in 1.95m and 2.5m widths and will retain its very small 'footprint' of just 677mm, which has made the Cambridge a favourite for retail environments where space is at a premium. Other sizes will follow subject to customer demand.
The open-chill ‘Inline Merchandiser’ cabinet is designed to fit within the modules of an ambient shelving system and offers high efficiency with low running costs and noise output thanks to its use of compact, horizontal rotary compressors. It offers three shelves plus the base for beers, wines and spirits, and five shelves plus base for dairy merchandising. Already available in a 1.2m format, 1.0m and 1.3m widths are expected follow later in the year.
For larger retail outlets, the complementary Kingston range features a lower front of just 350mm from floor to lower shelf, with a larger footprint of 843mm. It is available in three widths of 1246mm, 1950mm and 2492mm plus end walls.
Verco’s popular one, two and three door Henley range will also be on show. This range is fitted with Jumbo 768mm doors to give maximum visual appeal to merchandise and is available with a generous depth of 710mm.
Available in chiller or freezer formats, the glass-door Verwood range is available with one, two and three doors and is priced below the Henley to offer customers an alternative for installations where specifications and budgets don’t require premium models
